Diversity Statement

Diversities reflect God’s original and intentional design for humankind. Despite the marring effect of the Fall, humanity’s Imago Dei has been preserved and can be transformed by Christ’s redemption. We recognize our theological obligation to honor the inherent worth and dignity of every individual as evidenced in our compassionate and convictional embrace of diversities in ethnicity, age, sex, socio-economic status, ability and cultural background. We seek to demonstrate these values personally and institutionally to bear witness to the beauty of God’s creation.
